Anybody can open a cigar lounge, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be many great ones in Westchester County and that shocked me until I discovered this hidden gem in the heart of Mamaroneck.
All of the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the owner Josh is great guy who is always willing to make a suggestion and educate you while making you feel at home. The selection is great, the humidor is humidified just right and the prices are very reasonable. The smoking lounge is very comfortable and I always feel like I'm in somebody's home rather than a place of business.
In conclusion, Doc James is definitely my go-to spot for cigars in Westchester County.
